Alimah Track
Comprehensive Training in Sacred Scholarship
The Alimah Track is a four-year, full-time program in Arabic language and Islamic sciences, forming the first four years of the traditional six-year Alimah program.
The six-year Alimah curriculum is a comprehensive course of female Islamic scholarship, progressing through Arabic language and the Islamic sciences from foundational study to advanced levels. Katiba Collective offers the first four years, after which students may complete the final two years of dawrah and authorisation (ijazah) with Katiba Collective or another recognised institute.
What You Will Study
Arabic Language
Students develop proficiency in reading, writing, comprehension and speaking Arabic, alongside the grammar and language skills required for the study of Islamic texts.
Islamic Sciences
Students undertake a structured study of the major Islamic sciences, progressing in depth throughout the years:
Qur'an, Tafsīr & its principles
Hadīth & its principles
Fiqh & its principles
Aqīdah
Sīrah
And more.
Who Is This Program For?
The Alima Track is for women who wish to dedicate themselves to the study of Islam at a scholarly level and to carry that knowledge into their lives and service of the Muslim community for the rest of their lives.
It is suited to students who are sincere, committed, disciplined and prepared to give themselves fully to a rigorous course of study.

Application Process
1. Application
Complete the application form.
2. Entrance Examination
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to sit a pre-entry examination.
3. Interview
Applicants will then attend an interview. Where required, a female guardian will also be interviewed.
4. Admission
Successful applicants will receive an offer to join the program.
