The following educators and contributors deliver various courses and events through Katiba Collective. All are grounded in Islamic scholarship and committed to meaningful, relevant teaching.

Rahmah Ilahee

Rahmah Ilahee is a classically trained Islamic scholar, educator, and curriculum developer based in Melbourne. She began her formal studies at Darul Ulum College of Victoria over 15 years ago and advanced to specialise in Islamic Jurisprudence and Iftāʾ under Mufti Abdur-Rahman Mangera and Mufti Zubair Patel (UK), with a focus on Laws related to women.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and certifications in counseling and Life and Health Coaching, and has taught across both academic and community spaces. She currently serves as Program Manager at Madrasa Fatima Azzahra, an institute for classical Islamic scholarship.

As the founding director of Katiba Collective - a platform for structured and transformative Sacred education tailored for Muslim women - she leads the development of programs and resources that translate timeless Islamic tradition into relevant, real-world application. This includes the Muslim Educator Blueprint, a pioneering framework designed to help educators across diverse settings teach with both spiritual purpose and professional excellence.

Sofia Mirza

Sofia Mirza is a classically trained Islamic scholar and the first Australian woman to specialise in Islamic Jurisprudence (fiqh) and Iftāʾ within the Deobandi tradition. She completed the ʿĀlimah program at Darul Ulum College of Victoria, and went on to pursue advanced specialisation in legal verdicts (iftaʾ) through Darul Ilm, Birmingham (UK).

Alongside her Islamic scholarship, she is currently completing a Bachelor of Laws, bringing together legal insight from both sacred and secular traditions.

Huda Abbasi

Huda Abbasi is a classically trained Islamic scholar. Since graduating the six-year ʿĀlimah program at Darul Ulum College of Victoria, she has been actively teaching Qur’ān in both school and community settings, with a particular focus on tajwīd and tafsīr.

She currently teaches Qur’ān at a primary school and delivers a weekly English tafsīr class for women through Al-Asās Institute. Her teaching is marked by clarity and sincerity, making sacred knowledge accessible for students of all backgrounds.

Hafsa Ahmad

Hafsa Ahmad is a graduate of the ʿĀlimah program at Darul Ulum College of Victoria, and holds a Bachelor in Primary Education alongside certification in life coaching. A mother of two, she brings over a decade of experience in working with children across all ages, both in educational and mentoring roles.

Her approach is deeply nurturing and grounded in practical wisdom, shaped by her dual training in both Islamic scholarship and child development.

Humda Siddiqui

Humda Siddiqui is a graduate of the ʿĀlimah program at Darul Ulum College of Victoria and a seasoned mother of four. She is passionate about supporting women’s spiritual, emotional, and physical wellbeing—integrating traditional Islamic principles with insights from modern science.

Her work centres on helping women reconnect with their sacred identity and navigate life as purposeful, contemporary Muslims.
