On her shelf, she is finally able to put her knowledge to work mixing, arranging, and experimenting with each one, delighting in the process. Her world is an apothecary’s interpretation of these sacred botanicals, expressed through process, materials, and quiet curiosity.
On her shelf sit bottles, tinctures, labelled jars, pressed fragments, pigments, oils, and tools. Each vessel hints at a Qur’anic botanical: the depth of olives, the sweetness of figs and dates, the sharpness of garlic and onion, the brightness of pomegranate and cucumber.
